Okelani’s Enchanted Wheelchair Under the Sea! COLORING BOOK the book you read and color! Sheila Fein reports: This is the companion book to the soft and hard cover of Okelani’s Enchanted Wheelchair Under the Sea! and is the second book, and the second coloring book of the Okelani Series. The author is Alexandra Sanchez, and I am the book designer, illustrator, and co-publisher. Create your own undersea world!

Ali-Poo And Bella-Roo Go To The Zoo!, by Robert Joseph, is a fun story about two curious and adventure-seeking dogs who decide to go to the zoo to see what other animals look like and how they live.
The story is full of whimsical rhymes and actual facts about the zoo animals that they see.

Estado de la Unión – the Spanish version of State of the Union by Kitty Felde – has won a Gold Medal for Best Educational Chapter Book and a Bronze Medal for Best Immigration Themed Book from the Latino Book Awards.

Award-winning author Margo Sorenson created gasps and giggles meeting with 130 first- and second-graders in October, discussing The Story Behind the Story about some of her 30 published books, including NYTimes-featured Calvin Gets the Last Word (Tilbury House) and Spaghetti Smiles (Pelican/Arcadia Publishing). News from Christine Van Zandt: My lyrical picture book Milkweed for Monarchs won the 2025 Excellence in a Picture Book award by the Children’s Literature Council of Southern California. The awards ceremony was held in Glendale’s beautiful Brand Park. Once Upon a Time was the bookseller at this event.

Cate Touryan notes: My YA-Adult crossover novel, Turning Toward Eden, is the 2025 IAN Book of the Year winner in Cross-Genre Fiction. It also placed as a finalist in General Fiction.
