Egyptian Lullaby by Zeena M. Pliska got two lovely reviews:

“A melodious lullaby reminds an Egyptian child of the sensory delights of the city they left behind…” –Kirkus


The Fire of Stars: The Life and Brilliance of The Woman Who Discovered What Stars Are Made Of by Kirsten W. Larson, illustrated by Katherine Roy, is a Junior Library Guild selection. It received four starred reviews from Publishers Weekly, Shelf Awareness, School Library Journal, and Kirkus, which called the book “a luminous thematic pairing.”


Parachute Kids, a debut graphic novel written and illustrated by Betty C. Tang, about three Taiwanese siblings fending for themselves in America, has earned four starred reviews, including “Emotionally moving and beautifully executed,” from Kirkus.


Alice the Cat by Tim Cummings is a Children’s Book Council featured selection in their Hot off the Press series for May 2023.


Sparky of Bunker Hill and the Cold Kid Case by Rosalind Barden received the Literary Titan Gold Book Award, and previously received the Firebird Book Award, 1st Place for Cozy Mysteries. It also placed as an Author Academy Top Ten Mystery Finalist and Critters Readers Poll Top Ten Finisher for both Best Mystery and Best Young Adult Books.

Three of Ilana Rogel-Wieder’s submissions were acquired by Highlights High Five magazine, which will be published in their 2023 issues.


Judy Campbell-Smith’s picture book AJ’s Neighborhood, illustrated by Amanda Dowell, is being translated into Spanish. El Vicendario de AJ will be available in 2023.
